Institute Meeting
Members and guests of
the Worheres Institute went
to see the play "His Own'
Boss" at the Blyth Summ.er
Festival last Thursday.
Everyone enjoyed" the play
and found it very
humorous. Mrs. Harvey
Edgar, convener of cultural
activities, arranged for the
group to see the play.
After the play the In-
stitute met at the home of
Mrs. Edgar where the
lunch committee, Mrs.
Harry Elliott, Mrs. Robert
Fraser and Mrs. Bert
Garniss assisted in serving
sandwiches, tea and coffee.
The business meeting
was conducted by president
Mrs. Charles Mathers and
Mrs. Bill Peacock. A vote of
thanks was given to Mrs.
Murray Jenkins who had
donated the quilt which was
drawn at the last meeting.
The 4-H Garden Club
Achievement Day will be
held at. St. Andrew's Pre-
sbyterian Church August
17. Mrs. Edgar announced
the Travel Bureau in Wing-
ham is offering trips to
Grand Bend, August 10, to
the Highland Games at
Fergus August 12, to the
Lion Safari at Rockton
August 14 and to Toronto
August 25. Anyone in-
terested should contact the
bureau, she said.
The Institute will hold
