The board also received a reply
from James Snow, minister of
transportation and cominunica-
tions, to its May 31 letter
concerning the intersection • of
Highway #8 and Perth Road 10 in
the village of Dublin.
The board had asked both the
Ministry. of Transportation and
Communications and the Ontario
Provincial Police to survey the
existing traffic situation. at the
intersection regarding the
difficulty in entering No. 8
highway due to vehicles parked at
Health Unit

It was further stated in the
report that since there is no one
from Southwestern Ontario on the
Association of Oritario Boards
of Health, that should there be a
vacnancy due to the election this
fall, the Executive would be
looking for someone to appoint
from this area. The Board of
Health has recommended that
Mrs. Eileen Palmer's name be
sumitted to the Association for
.consideration should a vacancy
occur. •
The Home Care Audit Report
and Summary of Expenditure for
the year ending March 31, 1978
was received from Durst, Vodden
and Bender and showed total
expenditures of $228,264 as com-
pared to the original estimate for
the period of $245,016.
