The scripture from Acts 1: 8
and. Mathew 8: 13-16 was read by.
Mrs. Uhler followed by the
meditation. Mrs. G. Graig led in
prayer, Hymn, "God's noble men
and women" was sung. Mrs.
Uhler gave a reading, 'rime and
Effort." The offering was re-
ceived by Mrs. Alvin 'McDonald;
Mrs. Barb. Fritz and Mrs. Doreen
Hackwell, Mrs. Lillian Boulger
sang a saki "I'm his because of
Calvary,:"
Rev.. 'Michael Boulger of the
United Church in Monkton was
guest. speaker and introduced by
Mrs. Don McDonald. Rev.
Boulger spoke on the Mission
Outreach giving us muarfood for
thought. He spoke on the live,
love symbols, he spoke of Mis-
sionary work, it is a circle of love,
it is our commitment to be
faithful. our commitment to Mis-
ions, to help and share in the
gospel, he suggested to use books
to be more effective in Missionary
work he asked for our prayer in
the support of Missions. Mrs,
Boulger sang another solo, "His
eye is on the Sparrow",
Mrs. Walter ,Bewley thanked
our guests /. Mrs, 13oulger for her
lovely music in our service and
Rev,. Boulger for his message at
our thankoffering.
Closing hymn, "In Christ there
is no East or West" was sung.
Rev. Edward Baker pronounced
the benediction.
Miss Ruth Thamer spent last
week visiting with Mr. and Mrs.
Valker Herttein and family in
London.
There will be ball registration
at the hall Saturday from 2-4 in
the afternoon.
Mr. and -Mrs. Norman Schade
attended the funeral of a relative
in Wiarton last Friday.
