at Cavan United . Church in Winthrop on Friday, January 27.
Rev. M. E. Reuber officiated at the double-ring ceremony. Maid
of honor was Debbie Shaw of Stratford. Bridesmaids were
Margaret' Lamont of Seaforth,Kathy Dalton of Londesboro and
Barb Cotten of Kitchener. Groomsman was Larry Pridham of
R.R.1, Fullarton. Ushers were Brian Walkon of R.R.1, Fullarton,
Ken Harris, 'R.R. 1, Dublin, Jim McNichol, R.R.4, Walton.
Marjorie Papple was the organist and GraemeCraig the soloist.

Rev. Lewis Snow performed the ceremony at Charing Cross
United Church uniting in marriage Betty Ann Philips and Vern
Prescott. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jules Philips
of R.R.6, Chatham and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Prescott of Belgrave. The couple have taken up '
residence in Cedar Springs.
