Williamson, of R.R.NO. 3, Walton, and John William Boneschansker, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Boneschansker, of R.R.No.1, Ethel, were married August 20, 19.77 at 3 p.m. in Duff's United Church, Walton. Rev. Ed. Baker officiated. matron of Honor was Arlene van den Akker of Seaforth. Bridesmaids were Dorothy Boneschansker of Toronto, Mary-Ellen Knight of Brussels, and Gwenda Thompson of Mitchell. Flowergirl was Amy van den Akker of Seaforth. Best man was' Keith Williamson of Walton. Ushers were Robert Cummings of Toronto, Stephen Thompson of Mitchell and Bruce. Boneschansker of Eth el. Ring bearer wsa Brent van den Akker of Seaforth.Organist was Elva Wilbee of Walton. Soilist was Graeme Craig of Walton. After the ceremony,a dinner was held in the church parlour. Mr. and Roy Hall Mrs. William Hall , he lived on the Hall homestead on the 8th, con. of Grey until moving to Ethel Mrs. Mac Engel Correspondent The Ladies ' Aid held their annual bazaar on Saturday afternoon in the Community Centre. There was a good crowd who soon emptied the tables of the variety of articles and baking offered for sale. A social time followed over a cup of tea. The many who contributed or helped in any way will be pleased to know that the proceeds exceeded those of former years. Dr. Thomson opened the bazaar and welcomed the visitors. Mr. and Mrs. John Vanass and girls have moved into their new home. Mrs. Wes. McEachern is spending the week in Cambridge (Galt); where she will visit with her son Winston and Mrs. McEachern and family. Mrs. Clem Steffler left this week for Peace River where she will be visiting her son Clem and Mrs. Steffler and family. His wife is the former Pearl Dobson. His son. Elwin and three grandchildren lived in Owen Sound. Another son Jewett died as a young man. He is a member of Ethel United Church where for many years he was active in the choir, sunday school and young peoples groups. Mr. Hall is village barber, sharpens saws and carries out general repairs. Personals Dr. and Mrs. L. A. Wardlaw of Toronto spent the weekend with Mrs. Wardlaw. On Friday evening 18 young people from the Ethel Menonite Church, held their meeting at the home of Grandma Wardlaw, the meeting was in the form of Hymn and Bible study. Lunch was served and a social half hour spent. November 4. They prepared a "Caramel Fondue" which all members thought was a delightful treat. Intended for last week A number of Cranbrook residents attended the special anniversary service .in Monkton Presbyterian Church on Sunday. The Cranbrook 4-H club met when ten members answered the roll call. The minutes Were read by Joanne Knight and. two desserts banada bread and glazed apple cookies were prepared and enjoyed by all members. Miss Sandra Cameron was home from Barrieefor a few days and has returned again this week. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Morris and sister Annie of Kitchener visited Mrs. Calvin Cameron. Mr. and Mrs. Russ Playford and girls, Thorold, were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mitchell. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Armstrong, Fergus visited Mrs. Mac Engel on Sunday afternoon. Guides hold Hallowe'en party The 1st Brussels Girl Guides met Tuesday at the United Church with everyone in costume including Captain Blenkhorn and Lieutenant Betty Graber. Eighteen girls were present. First prize went to Pal ricia Ten Pas dressed as a bride, second Jean Shipman as a baby, Shelly Draper as a black cat.
