Councillor resigns
be officially accepted at Council's
regular meeting July. 4.: •
Brussels councillor Frank
Stretton is resigning. His
resignation was revealed at a
joint PUC council meeting
Tuesday night.
Reeve Cal Krauter tabled a
letter dated June 8, in which Mr.
Stretton cited "personal advice
from a specialist in London, and
many extra conitnitments" to his
time as 'reasons for the
resignation. Mr. Strettort, who
was present at the meeting, said
he hoped his decision would not
cause council a great deal of
inconvenience.
Reeve Kal Krauter said he
regretted Mr, Stretton's decision,
but added "I can see it when the
mart's not well."
