of Turnberry St., looking south, is a sidewalk. It'll

BRA has its
annual dinner
Advertising Brussels and the
service its merchants have to
offer was the topic at the Brussels
Business Association's annual

during the day, 'promoting t wo
businesses and the village itself
each time. The commercials', are
changed •every yveek: The 'more
merchanis who sign up, the
better the ,rates would be, Mr.
Brown explained.
One member said Brussels

larger towns do 1 because the
village doesn't have as much to
offer. Another suggested that a

On January 28 the country
people came to school and were
then taken home later that
afternoon. We had no school the
following week because of poor
visibility and the roads were all
,blocked. It was alright in one way,
no school but then we were all
cooped up at home for that week.
On Monday, February 7 we
returned to school and found that
we had homework to catch up on.
Most people have got their
homework all caught up and
school is now back on the regular
course. By Karen McLean
During the storm in Brussels
you could hardly see anything.
There was not much to do except
stay in your house or go out in the
storm and get lost. There were
many people stormstayed in
different places. By Jill

Saturday, February 26th? The
Brussels A rena has been the
scene of exciting carnivals in past
years with many beautiful
costumes on which a great deal of
imagination and time were spent,
on display. The Brussels Figure
Skating Club, sponsors the event.
I-tope that this carnival 'will equal
or surpass the success of former
ones.
