What could have been a tragic accident turned into a lucky escape for Mary Elizabeth Douma and her three children of RR 4, Brussels on Sunday, as the car she was driving skidded on ice on the sixth of Morris and overturned. Trinity Church holds concert The congregation of Trinity Anglican Church and their families and friends met at the Women’s Institute Hall on Tuesday night, December 23 for a pot luck supper and program. Grace was said by Rev. Douglas Madge. Following the meal the children presented a program of recita­ tions, singing and musical num­ bers under the direction of Mary Isabel Nethery. Everyone joined in singing Christmas carols, then Santa Claus arrived to distribute gifts arid candy bags. Belgrave Women s Institute celebrated its 75th anniversary.in May.
