BY BOB MURPHY First item of business for newly acclaimed Huron County Warden Brian McBurney was the appoint­ ment of the striking committee to distribute the membership of council’s seven standing commit­ tees and two boards. Last Wednesday, council met briefly to give its approval to the striking committee report. Brussels Reeve Hank TenPas is a member of the committee of management for Huronview, the county operated home for the aged near Clinton, and Blyth Reeve Albert Wasson has been named to the agriculture and property com­ mittee. Wingham Reeve Bruce Machan has been re-appointed to the road committee, while Howick Town­ ship Reeve Gerald D’Arcey has been appointed to the Huron County Library Board. EastWawa- nosh Township Reeve Ernest Snell is a member of the Huron County Board of Health and Morris Township Reeve Doug Fraser is the new chairman of the social services committee. The retiring warden, Grey Township Reeve Leona Armstrong is now a member of the Huronview management committee.
