The Junior and Senior Choirs will also appear at the concert. with students from grades 5 - 8. The captains of the teams are Philip Hubbard (Warriors), Darryl Elliott (Short Stuffs), Ricky How- son (Rug Rats), Michael Pawitch (Poo’s Panthers), Troy Chambers (Destroyers) and Dave Bell (Scor­ pions). Tied in first place are the Warriors and the Short Stuffs. At the end of the season, playoffs will beheldwith the first and fourth place teams playing off, as well as the second and third teams. Kindergarten will act out the Christmas Story, while in Grades 1 - 2, Santa’s elves go to great lengths to help Santa lose weight. Grades 3 - 4 will do a play called A PRAIRIE BOY’S WINTER BY CHRYST AL CUCKSEY AND SARAH ALLAN The grade 6 class has been reading a book called “A Prairie Boy’s Winter”. The book is filled with exciting memories and colour- ful paintings about games and chores the children did during the depression on the prairies. On December 12, the grade 6 class went to the play based on the AN INVITATION TO SENIOR CITIZENS BY AMBER GELWICKS AND STEPHANIE LENTZ A special presentation of the Christmas Concert will be held today (Wednesday) in the gym. All the senior citizens in the area are welcome to attend the presentation to enjoy a preview ofthe concert which will be held at 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 18. School will be dismissed for the ChristmasHolidaysat2:30p.m. on December 19. Classes will resume at 9 a.m. on Monday, January 5.
