Brussels United Church officiat- Former resident dies ella McIntosh A resident of Brussels for over 35 years, Mrs. Ella McIntosh passed away at Clinton Public Hospital on Dec. 2, 1986, after a short illness. She was the dear daughter of the late Mary and Charles Case of McKillop Twp. She married John Jack Conley will look afte^ A- McIntosh of Grey Twp. on April booking for the hall. Mrs. Steven- 9, 1919. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A private funeral and commital service was held at M. L. Watts Stevenson, Mrs. Jim Minielly, Gary Evans, Donald Clark and Frank Workman, chairman. The Board is: Mrs. Stuart People around Cranbrook Steven Webb, Rockwood, con­ ducted the regular morning service in Knox Presbyterian Church on Sunday, November30. Flowers were placed in the church in memory of the late Jim Hart. Mr. and Mrs. Mac Lamont and The Cranbrook W.I. held their Christmas dinner on Dec. 4 in the Community Centre at 12:30. The Ethel W.I. were guests and provided the entertainment. Gifts were exchanged and a social time enjoyed. FRED GLASSIER A former resident of Brussels, Frederick (Fred) G. Glassier pass­ ed away in hospital in New Liskeard on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1986. He was the beloved husband of theformer Agnes Davidson and dear father of Peter (and his wife Julie) of Peterborough and Bill (and his wife Nicki) of Sudbury and one grandson, Tyson of Sudbury. He is also survived by one brother, Stuart of Midland. He was predeceased by his parents, the late Daniel Glassier and Mabel McNichol. Mrs. Norris, all of Cromarty, visited recently with Wilfred and Mrs. Strickler. Richard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Minielly has been ill with pneumonia for a couple of weeks. The Knight families had an early Christmas dinner at the Brussels arena when the catering group served the dinner to approximately 40 people. Winners were: high, Wilda Baillie, Cliff Hoegy; low, Mrs. Krotz, John Subject; lone hands, Becci Ruppel, Lloyd Smith; at lucky table, Anne McMurchy, Shirley Versteop, Wilda Baillie, Stan Alexander; lucky tallies, Helen Alexander, Jack Cox, Mrs. Subject; lucky score no., Shirley Versteop, Stan Alexander. Table centres were donated by Wilma Rath well. The Foresters are having a euchre on Friday night, December 12. during the past year.
