The market at Brussels Stock-
yards on Friday was lower on all
classes of cattle and there was a
slight decline on the pig market.
The highlight of the sale was
the selling of ,the Central Perth
4.11 Club Heifers. The top heifer
in the 4-H club was corisigned by
Lloyd Drummond. of Milchell
weighing 912 lbs. selling for
$43.50.

with sales to 41.75.
Good Steers - 38.00 to 40.00
A steer consigned by J & M
Ranch of Brussels weighing 1190
lbs. sold for 41.75 with their
offering of 11 steers averaging
1165 lbs. sold for 40.90.

The Cranbrook W.I. held their
Christmas concert in the
Community Centre on Friday
evening with a good crowd in
attendance. Jack Conley was
chairman for the variety program
consisting of the Christmas Story
by a group of children,
recitations, skits, duets, tap
dancing, piano music, and a
dialogue by the. Institute
members "The Truth Box."
Community singing was
enjoyed led by Jim Cox and
several local girls. Santa Claus
arrived at the close with treats for
the children.

visited with friends in Markdale
on the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Henry,
Goderich, visited' Mrs. Stuart
McNair on Sunday.
