CHAMPION SWINE SHOWMAN — Terry *Smith of
R.R.1, Walton won the Victoria and Grey Tr(ist
award as champion swine showman. He's a member
of the North Huron Hog Producers 4-H. Swine Club
and competed for the award at the 4-H swine show in

ALLAN GOLDWIN KNIGHT
Allan Goldwin Knight of RR
3, Brussels died in Clinton Public
Hospital on Monday, Nov. 1, 1976
in his 68th year. He had taken a
heart attack on Saturday at his
,home.
Mr. Knight was the youngest
son of James and Christena
(McNeil) Knight and was born
and farmed all his life on the farm
where he resided Lot 21, Con 12
Grey township.
In 1953 he was married to the
former Marjorie Brown of
Nionkton. SurviOng are his wife,.
three sons, Dale, Allan, Keith'
and one daughter Linda all at
home; three brothers Russel
(Grey Township), Alfred
(Brussels), Hector (Picton) and
one sister Eleanor (Mrs. Carl
Hemingway) Grey Township.
The funeral service was held at
the M.L. Watts funeral Home,
Brusels, on November 3rd at 2
p.m. with Rev. Edwin Nelson,
Seaforth officiating.
Interment followed in. Cranbrok ,
Cemetery and pallbearers were
Jim Knight, Jack Knight, Leslie
Knight, Stanley Brown, Amos
Smith and John Armstrong.
MARY HILDA HALLAHAN
Mary Hilda Hallahan of R.R.1,
Belgrave, died October 31 in
Wingham and District . Hospital
after a lone illness, She was. 70,
She .is survived by her
husband, Dan, to whom she was
married- at Sacred Heart Roman
Catholic Church, Teeswater on
June 26, 1935, and by five'
children, Mary Lou, Mrs.. Lloyd
Aubin, Goderich, Frank and Joe
Margaret, London and.
Toni, Belgrave. A • daughter
Catherine, died at birth in 1943, •
She was the daughter of the
late Andrew McCormick and Lucy
Lamont of Culross Township.
.brother, 'Donald McCormick,
R.,R,2, Wingham and a .Sister,
Miss Kate. . McCormick,
Teeswater„ also survive.
The late Mrs. Hallahan was
educated at Holmes School in
Turnberry Township. She w active in the Blyth Calho
Women's League and the k and Belgrave Women's leo
