It was noted that ushers in both
churches had improved, singing
and participation was good and
that the newly-established Folk
Choir was off to a good Start.
Christmas and' New Year
schedules of Masses was
approved.
It was also discuss-a: that a
Centennial Mass, dinner and
dance should be organized with
perhaps a booklet being
published to commermorate 100
years for both churches. It 'was • agreed that the Campaign in the
Parish (Oct. 24) did an immense
amount of Spiritual and material good.
The final amount realized was
$3 400.00 and the, following plan
was approved; $1,550.00' to the
Diocese; $100.00 to the
Propagation of the Faith; $500.00
to the Centenary Celebration, 1200.00 towards Catholic
Education Texts; $50.00 each td

were lined up for January General
Meeting. It was pointed out that
there was i some lack of interest
because the Board is advisory' in
its work. However, it was also
pointed out that most of, the
Parishioners were,willing to work,
'but when it came to the cold hard'
facts of working, only a few could
be counted on to produce. It was
also pointed out that thereis not
much interest from this area in
the Diocese,'
At the Parish Advistory Board
Meeting It was pointed out that
this ,was a good Parish spiritually
and materially. No new churches
would be built in this century
likely, unless there was a great
influx of industry and people,
Another Ma,ss would be put on if
necessary or a larger Church in
the area could be rented for
Sunday Celebration. The area will
be a "one Priest" parish for a
long, long time and if the re are
no Priests members might have to
travel further for Sunday Mass.
Good co-operation between Priest
and people was noted.

1-November 7. Officers at
Wingham Detachment conducted
forty investigations.
Twenty eight charges were laid
under the Highway Traffic Act
and twenty one warnings issued.
Three charges were laid under
the. Liquor Licence Act.
During the week, there were
twelve motor vehicle collisions
which caused an estimated
$34,000.00 in property damage
with one person killed and
injuries to seve n persons.
A fatal motor vehicle collision;
occurred on Highway 86 on
November 4, 1976 at 3:45 Fr.m.
Walter James Brown, age 69, RR
2, Blyth was fatally injured in this
collision. _Donald Taylor of
Lucknow is in 'Wingham and
District Hospital in fair condition.
Robert M. Fischer of Kitchenr
remains in Kitchener-Waterloo
hospital in serious condition.
Mrs. Walter Brown, Jr. and her
son John, passengers in the
Brown vehicle,were subsequently
released from the Wingham and
District Hospital.

Lucknow was involved in a single
car accident on County Road #29, -
east of County Road 12, Howick
Township. Marjoire • and
Rosemary Pellett, • both of
Wroxeter, passengers in the
' Aitchison vehicle were injured as
a result of the collision.
On Sunday, November 7,
Debra Taylor, age 3, of East
Wawanosh Township, was
injured when she ran , onto the
raociWay from a laneway on
Concession Road 6-7, west of
Highway #4, East Wawanosh
Township and was struck by a
vehicle driven by Gary B.
