Lodge plans Variety Fair for Sat
Morningstar' Rebekah Lodge
held its regular meeting in Lodge
Hall with a good attendance.
Reports on sick and shutins
were given and thank you cards
read. Invitations were read to
attend Listowel Lodge, April 22;
to. Huronic Lodge dessert euchre
April 28 at 1:30 p.m.; Districh
Church Service, Sunday May 2,
Varna; United Church Service at
10:15 a.m. Members were asked
for donations to fight cancer and
leukemia and to buy stamps to
stamp out hunger. •
Sister Mary Fischer, P.N.G. of
Exeter will be the incoming D.D.
Pres, of Huron District 23.
Members from Goderich Lodge
will accompany the D.D. Presi-
dent Tuesday on her official visit
to the Lodge.
The Variety Fair will be held on
Saturday, May' 1 at 2. Several
members offered to make posters
to advertise this sale. It.was also
decided to have Past Grands
night at the first meeting in June,
with Sister Hastings in charge of
arranging this.'
Lodge closed. The social
• committee conducted two very
interesting contests. The lunch
committee served lunch.
