Sales were up from $230.5 million to $258.4 million, repre- senting a 12.1 per cent increase over 1974. Net savings for the year were $7.1 million before taxes and patronage, a decline of 16.6 per cent from last year. " This year UCO is returning to its members $4.1 million in the form of patronage refund, one third in cash and two thirds in common shares. UCO's Board of Directors author- ized a cash redemption of $425,- 000 to members holding 1965 series common .shares. Walton Mrs. Walter Broadfoot is spending a few days during the Christmas Season in London at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Farquharson. Christmas Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs. Allan McCall were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Stenvenson and Ronald and Mrs. and Mrs. Stuart Stevenson. Mrs. Gertie Bennett spent Christmas with her son and family. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Rutledge in London, and remained for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Don Achilles and family spent Boxing Day with Mr. and Mrs. Adrian and their families in Brussels. Mrs. Maud Leeming, Mr. W.J.Lc eming and family and Mr. and Mrs. David 'Brady .and daugahter were Christmas Day guests with -Mr. and Mrs. John Watson of Bayfield. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Smalldon of Fort Eric visited with Mr. and MrS. Harold Smalidon on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day guests with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Murray, and Susan were: Misses Ida and Gladys Leiper, Ross Leiper of Clinton and Charlie' Murray. Huronview The annual residents Christmas program was held in the auditorium on Friday afternoon with over two hundred able to attend. Mr. Wayne Lester, Assistant Administrator was emcee for the program andMrs, Elsie Henderson played the piano. Sixty residents took part in the concert with a mixed chorus leading the carol sing, selections by the sixteen member rythm and individual musical numbers by Helen Fischer, Moran Dalton, Norman Speir, Nelson Lear, George Jenner and Mrs. Butt. Reading and recitations were given by Mrs. Davis, Bertha Deihl, Mrs. Buchanan, Mrs. Sparling, Irene O'Connor, Mary VanCamp, Sarah Carter and Betty Scratch. Following the program a Christmas supper was enjoyed by everyone in the main dinging room and area where special tables had been set up for the occasion. The Seaford' Lions Club annual Christmas program was held in the auditorium on Sunday afternoon. This annual visit by the Lions started fifty years ago_ in 1925 and is looked forward to by all of the residents. Mr. Bob Spittal was emcee for the program which included an address by Rev. Ure Stewart, Musical numbers by the McAllister and Coleman sisters, selections by the McQuaid family, step dance numbers by Sandra & Susan Hulley, a sing song of carols accompanied at the piano byJim Scott and a visit from Santa Claus. Each resident received a gift of fruit from the Club and Administrator Mr. Archibald thanked the Lions on behalf of the residents. Mr. William Elsley and Alex Howe were welcomed to the Home at Monday's activities.Old tyme music for the first part of the program was provided by Marie Flynn, Norman' Speir and Jerry Collins with the second part including a sing a long and dance numbers by, Dawn and Debbie.
