gathered at the home of Mr. and
Mr sRoy Williamson to, help
celebrate their 25th Anniversary.
Mrs. Williamson was the former
Kathleen. Roe.
They were married in Duff's
United Church Manse, Walton on
October 14th , 1950. They have a
family of one girl Shirley, Mrs.
Ken Laverty, Seaforth, one son
Tom at home, also one
granddaughter Valerie Laverty.
, After a short program the
following address was read by
Mrs. Albert Clarke, Atwood, aunt
of the groom.
Dear Kathleen & Roy:
We've gathered here to celebrate
This very memorable date
When twenty-five years ago
Up to. Walton you did go.
Before Rev. Hazelwood your vows
were said
T'was at the Manse that you were
wed.
And when your honeymoon was
o'er
To your farm on the boundry you
headed to chore.
With land to till and those
Holstein cows
You were a busy couple now.
Idle moments you rarely knew
For when the work was nearly
through
Roy with his hammer in his hand
On many a roof would bravely
stand
He hammered board with all his

For carpenter work was his

sung. Fourteen visits and nine
cards were reported, minutes
read and treasurer's report

Proverbs and. John. "Work for
the night is coming" was sung -
