minutes were read by Mrs. H.
Traviss and Mrs. K. McDonald-
gave the treasurer's report.
United Church calendars were
given out to be taken to units.
It was reported a 100 coffee
perelhas been purchased to be left
and used at the church. It was
also suggested that inventory of
the kitchen supplies be taken
once a year.
The annual fowl slipper was
discussed. Mrs. A. McCall, is to
advertise it. Bale articles are to be
left in the church basement net
later than October 15. The church
auditorium will be decorated for
Thanksgiving unday.
The meeting was closed with
the Lord's Prayer followed by the
benediction.

A car accident in Ottawa on
September 28th claimed the life
of Danny Craig in his 23rd year.
He is survived by his parents,
Mr. and Mrs, Robert E. Craig, a
sister and two brothers, all of
Ottawa; his grandmother, Mrs,
Ada • Craig of Huronview and
aunts, uncles and cousins of
Brussels and the surrounding
area.
