The fish is 37 1/2 " long, has a girth of 22" and its tail fin measures 22" across. The exact fishing place remains a secret. If you are 65 or older, you are probably entitled to Ontario's new Senior Citizens' Privilege Card. These are the privileges Ontario offers you. There's a new Ontario Senior Citizens' Privilege Card, which has been sent to 750,000 Ontario residents aged 65 and older. It replaces the monthly drug benefit card issued by the Ministry of Health. In addition to free OHIP services, the card provides more than 1500 free pre- scription drugs to all seniors receiving federal Old Age Security or Ontario Guaranteed Annual Income System (GAINS) cheques. The new Privilege Card offers identi- fication for: • Free admission to all Ontario provincial parks. • Free or reduced admission to many historical, cultural and recreational sites, such as Ontario Place, the Ontario Science Centre, Upper Canada Village and the Royal Botanical Gardens. • Special senior citizens discounts at many business establishments. • Special senior citizens rates on certain public transit systems; (Check with your local transit system to see if it offers these.) • Participation in community activities and centres for senior citizens. If you are presently receiving your monthly drug benefit card, you should receive your Senior Citizens' Piivilege Card automatically. Sign it immediately. Without your signature, you cannot use the card. If you are 65 or older, and have lived in Ontario for 12 months or more but have not received your card by September 30, write to: Ontario Senior Citizens' Privilege Card (Drug Benefit) Queen's Park. Stratford General Hospital of Miss Jane McLennan in her 82nd year. Daughter of the late John McLennan and Rebecca Earls, she had been a resident of Ethel for a number of years. She wa§ a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Ethel, and a faithful member of the W.M.S. Miss McLennan was predeceased by four sisters and four brothers. She leaves one sister-in-law, Mrs. Reta. McLennan, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Dennis Clarke from the M.L.Watts Funeral Home, Brussels, on. September 23 at 2:00 'p.m. Interment followed in Molesworth Cemetery. Pallbearers were six nephews, Stewart McLennan, Scott McLennan, Ned Thompson, Clarence Gibson, Joe McBride, Howard Harris and the flower- bearers were Ross Stephenson and Clifford Dunbar. The Brussels Horticultural Society met in the Library Monday at 8 P.M. Mrs. F. Dunk presided, opening the meeting with 0 Canada after her welcoming remarks. Minutes, the treasurer's report, report of the flower show, correspondence and roll call were all given. There were 20 members and eight guests present. The three Grenville sisters tap danced. Mr. A. Knight read the news letter. The November meeting was discussed. All, were reminded of the pot luck supper. Mrs. F. Dunk introduced Mrs. Wm. Klie of Hanover, Dist. Pres, of No, 8. She mentioned Distrid 8 are co-host for the annual convention to be held in Waterloo Her main topic was house plants, Mrs.Dunk thanked her and presented a gift. After another number by the Misses Grenville, Mrs, mair thanked them and presented gifts. Door prize was won by Mrs, R.W.Stephens. The Queen closed the 'meeting. Lunch was served, by Mrs. A. Reverend Maurice Francis of .Thames-view Charge was guest minister. Fiftieth anniversary lapel pins were presented to members who have been members 'since 1925 by Mr. Robert Fraser and Mr. Francis. The fifty year members are; Mrs. Louella Brewer, Mrs. Viola Campbell, Mrs. Lillian Elliott, Mrs. Sadie Hall, Mr. Gordon Hall Mrs. Aldien Holt, Mr. George Hetherington, Mrs. Beth Johns- ton, Mr. Carl Johnston, Mr. Charles Johnston, Miss Emma Johnston, Mr. James C. Johnston Mr. Spading Johnston, Mrs.. Robt. McKinnon, Mr. Wm. Peacock, Mr. Frank Stamper, Mr. George Thomson. Many out of town former members werel present for the occasion. The choir was made up of former] choir members. Mr. Barry Cox and Mr. Brian MacIntosh, of the award winning Listowel Choir were the soloists. Following the service the United Church Women served lunch. The pre-school age grand child- ren of the fifty year members blew out the candles on a very large birthday cake.
