Tuesday, August 19 they start the next series in Moncrief. Ruff and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Fischer and family and other relatives in the area. Rev. Brown was in charge of the service in Bluevale United Church on Sunday. The Presby- terian congregation joins the United congregation this month. Mr. and Mrs. Bill, Campbell., David and Debbie visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Elliott. Mrs. Evelyn Biller and son Jim visited on Saturday with Mr. an Mrs. Gordon Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wheeler of Wingham visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J.J . Elliott. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Wright on the birth of their daughter, Sherry Lynne in Wingham and District Hospital Michie in honour of their parents 25th wedding anniversary. Guests, and relatives from the surround- ing community were present along with the original wedding party. on August 11. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dettman visited on Wednesday evening with Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Elliott. Thursday evening visitors at the Elliott home were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Merkley of Wingham, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hall of Ayler were Thursday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hall. The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food is sponsoring 4-H Homemaking Clubs for Fall in Huron County. There has been a revival of interest in the skills, arts and crafts of yesteryear. Breadmaking has become increasingly popular and because of this, a new project developed called "Let's Bake Bread". Club members will learn the techniques of making bread ' and rolls. A variety of recipes is included for homemade breads and their uses in meals and snacks. Jane Pengilley, Home Economist for Huron County, will be conducting the following Leaders' Training Schools: During the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Anderson were presented with many gifts, after which the guests enjoyed a smogasbard supper. Mr. and Mrs. John Spivey, Brenda and Barbara of Ingersoll spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and., Mrs. Harold Procter, also visited with her aunt, Miss Margaret Curtis who is a patient in the Wingham District Hospital. They also visited with other Edgar cousins in this area, Miss Doris Coupes left on Monday by plane for Calgary with the Kitchener Keiswetters Senior Ladies Ball Team to compete in the Canadian Championship Games this week.
