25. In Memoriam
We sleep but not forever,
There will be a glorious dawn;
We shall meet to part - no never,
On the resurrection morn! •
From the deepest caves of
oce
From the desert and the plain,
From the valley and the mountain
Countless throngs shall rise again
We shall sleep but not forever
In the lone and silent grave;
Blessed be the Lord that taketh,
Blessed be the Lord that gave,
In the bright eternal city
Death can never never come!
In His own good time He'll call us
From our rest to Home sweet
Home.
In loving memory of Margaret
Carter who departed this life
August 1, 1974.
Sadly missed by her husband

Artistic Director James Roy has
accounted that the enthusiastic
responce and support received
from Blyth and the surrounding
area has assured a second season
next year. Attendance during the
first three weeks of the Festival
has been higher than expected.
Encouraged by this initial
success, the Blyth Summer Fest-
ival plans, next summer, to
extend its season and expand the
professional company. There will
be an increased number of
productions with a continued
emphasis on original Canadian
material. More special events,
including music and crafts, are
planned, .and hopefully, an art
gallery will be added.
The current season has consist-
ed of two main productions, one
an original script Mostly in
Clover based on the books of
Harry J. Boyle, and The Mouse-
trap by Agatha Christie. Theatre
Passe Muraille's Farm Show
visited for one performance, and
The Chantecleer Puppet Theatre
performed two shows for children
A country Cabaret, staged at The
Goderich. Jail and Blyth Memorial
"That's the bad curve I
was telling you about."
FROM STATION TO' CLUB HOUSE- Brussels the sign says, and it's a reminder
that the new club house at the lawn bowling greens near, the•fair grounds was once
the village CN station. The club moved part of the station and renovated it this
spring. (Photo by Langloie)
