Attendance during the first three weeks of the Festival has been higher than expected. Encouraged by this initial success, the Blyth Summer Fest- ival plans, next summer, to extend its season and expand the professional company. There will be an increased number of productions with a continued emphasis on original Canadian material. More special events, including music and crafts, are planned, .and hopefully, an art gallery will be added. The current season has consist- ed of two main productions, one an original script Mostly in Clover based on the books of Harry J. Boyle, and The Mouse- trap by Agatha Christie. Theatre Passe Muraille's Farm Show visited for one performance, and The Chantecleer Puppet Theatre performed two shows for children A country Cabaret, staged at The Goderich.
