Obituary
IRA CAMPBELL
Ira Campbell of Belgrave died
'in Wingham and District Hospital
on Monday, June 23 after a short
illness. He was in his 98th year,
the son of James Campbell and

A daughter, Mrs. Edwin (ivy)
Ansley, Thessalon survives, Mr,
Campbell was predeceased by
two sons Floyd ' and Glenwood
and three brothers, George, John
and Elwood, 18 grandchildre n, is
great grandchildren and three
great, great grandchildren
survive.
Educated in W. Wanosh Twp„
Mr. Campbell spent his early
years lumbering in Northern;
Ontario. He was later woods
manager for Spruce Falls Power
and Paper Company at
Kapuskasing. IN 1940 Mr. and
Mrs . Campbell moved to
Lucknow and they retired to
Belgrave in 1958.
Mr., Campbell was a member
of Belgrave United Church and
the Masonic Lodge in
Kapuskasing. Wingham and
Lucknow lodges held a memorial
service at the funeral home.
Funeral services were held
Thursday from the Walker
Funeral Home with Rev. John G,
Roberts officiating. Interment
followed in Brandon Cemetery,
Belgrave:
Pallbearers were grandsons,
Donald, Allan, Bruce, Bernard
and Ira Campbell and Rodney
Ansley. Flower bearers were
Keith Van Camp and Robert;
Straughan.
Those attending the funeral
from a distance were Mr. and
Mrs. John Blanchard, Hanover,
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Campbell and
family, Galt, Mr. and Mrs. Robert
