W.M.S. of Knox Church was held
at the home of the president,.
Mrs. Earl Dunn, with 14 ladies
present. Mrs. Dunn and Mrs.
Wilfred Strickler were leaders for
the Easter program from the Glad
Tidings.
Scripture readings were in
unison. They hymns sung were
"Jesus Stands Among Us", "The
Lord's Prayer" and "The Day of
Resurrection" with Mrs. Clare
Veitch as pianist. An Easter story
and the topic "Three Estimates of
the Cross" were given by
Mrs. Mac Engel.
Mrs. T.L.Scott, the
Presbyterial visitor plans to be at
the meeting on September 10.
Members were invited•to Atwood
on May 4 at 8 p.m. when Miss
Margaret Kennedy will be
speaking, Several members were
interested in the bus trip to
Niagara on Wednesdy, May
The bus will leave Stratford at
a.m. from the A. & P. Parking
The roll call a verse containing
one of the names Jesus was
known by.
Mrs. Lylle Gordon will be
hostess for the May meeting
when the new Study Book will be
introduced. Mrs. John Schnock
