She was born in the Port Albert area and is the only remaining member of a family of six girls. They played two 8 end games with Frances Bremner and her team coming out on top. Other members on her rink were Yvonne Knight vice, Linda. , Patterson, second and Velma Carol Wheeler and Michelle 'WcCutcheon competed in Sarnia )n the weekend representing the Wingliam Figure Skating Club. Carol was successful in winning ;first place in her flight of 10 • i ;katers. This qualified her for the i Thais in which she placed second, t ? tdding another ribbon and medal o her collection. Michelle placed ' ' ourth in her flight out of 10. Carol also skated in a pairs set vith Blaine Moore of Wingham vinning first place and a trophy. Roman Catholic School Board set priorities for renovations and construction for 1975 at their meeting Monday night in Seaforth. First on the list is a general purpose room and change rooms at St. Patrick's , Kinkora, at an approximate cost of $90,000. Next the board plans, a library resource room,. change rooms, a health room and making an adminis- trative area out of the existing resource centre at St. Boniface, Zurich, at a cost of about $102,000. , If there is' a sufficient surplus left after these two projects are completed, renovations will be made to the existing main entrance at St. patrick's, Dublin, to provide a library resource area. Priorities were based on five: year enrolment forecasts which show a declining enrolment in all the board's schools. ,At St. Patrick's, Kinkora, the forecast shows enrolment going down from 203 in 1974 to 140 in 1979.
