As a result of the visiting restrictions at the Home, several
of the regular events have been cancelled.
Mrs. Elsie Henderson, Norman Speir and Jerry Collins
provided the Old Ty me Music for Monday's activities along
with several numbers by the Huronview Rythm Band. The
residents practised square dancing with Mrs. McGratton
doing the calling.
Slide pictures that have been taken during the past four
years of special events were shown in each of the areas during
the week.

hosted an Interclub Competition
with 8 Clubs participating.

A number of the Brussels
skaters will be attending skating
school at Walkerton for a week
during the school break and
Michelle and Carol will be
competing at Sarnia and North
Bay the end of March.
Brussels will be hosting its first
Test Day for the junior members
at the arena this Thursday, March
6th at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in
watching the tests are most
welcome.

After eliminating Hensall the
Atom "A's" travelled to Lucknow
last Monday evening to play the
first game of their final series in
their category. They picked up a
7-2• win with Todd Wheeler
scoring 3 goals, Kevin Deitner 1,
Brad Wright 2, Doug McArter 1,
Assists went to Danny Achilles,
Kevin Deitner, Doug McArter,
Brad Wright 1 each.
The Lucknow team returned to
Brussels on Saturday morning to
put up an excellent effort in the
second game. Brussels held a 1-0
lead until the third period when
they scored their second goal and
then Lucknow caught fire and
went ahead 3-2. Brussels scored
the tying goal in the last 2
minutes and held it to cause an
overtime period. Lucknow scored
the first overtime goal with
Brussels coming back to score two
more goals to win the game and
the championship for their ‘"D"
category in the W.O.A.A.

for their first home and home
game and picked up a 5 - 1
victory over the visitors. Scoring
for Brussels was Dave Watts 2,
Bob Bridge, Paul Gowing and
Dave Sephenson 1 each. Assists
went to Randy White, Murray
Nichol, Bob Bridge, Jerry
