Frieburger; Low Man - Jerry
Frieburger; Lucky Draw ; Lloyd
Taylor.
The next euchre will be March
13 with Doris Adams and Alba
Mundk in charge.
Mrs. Jack Nicholson and Mr.
J.C.Johnston are patients in the
hospital. We wish them both a
speedy recovery.
The World's Day of Prayer will
be held Friday, March 7 at 3 p.m.
in the Presbyterian Church. Mrs
Wayne Baswick will be guest
speaker. All ladies of the
community are cordially invited to
attend.
The Women's Institute will
hold their Public Relations
meeting at the home of Mrs Soren
Anderson on March 12 at 2 p.m.
The Roll Call is an interesting
article from the Home and
Country. Each member is to bring
a bit of humour to the meeting.

Sunday School started in the
Presbyterian Church on Sunday,
March 2 at 10:30 a.m. Mission
Band and Explorers held their ,
March meeting during the church
service, fo which Mr . Wayne
Baswick was in charge.

Rev. R.H.Armstrong
presided for the annual meeting
of the Bluevale Presbyterian
Church on Tuesday evening, Feb.
18th, which had been postponed
the previous week due to the
stormy weather.
Mrs. Wm. Mundell was
appointed secretary for the
meeting.
Reports of the various
organizations were received as
printed. Present membership is
126 and Sunday School enrolment
is 55. All organizations of the
church reported a successful
year. A vote of thanks was
tendered John McInnes and Larry
Elliott for their work with the
Sunday. School.
Mrs. Glenn Snell, Ross
Hoggart and Brian Warwick were
elected to the Board of Managers
for a three year term. Ron
Boonstra was added as an
assistant usher. Mrs Bernard
Thomas was elected as
representative to the Bible
Society replacing Mrs. J.J.Elliott.
Wayne Baswick, student
minister was tendered 'a vote of
thanks for his work since coming
to this charge in July.
Rev. Armstrong closed the
meeting_ with prayer and a social
hour followed.

Mississauga spent the past week,
with Mrs. Aletha Rann and other
friends.
Mr. and Mrs Robert Rann and

Captain John Beer, passed away
on Friday in Victoria Hospital,
London, following several months
of failing health. Mrs.Beer will be

MacTavish opened the meeting
reading from Matthew, Chapter
8, Verses 1-7.
"The Country Mice" spent the
afternoon quilting. The meeting
closed with a delicious lunch
served by the hostess.

Mr. and Mrs. J.J.Elliott.

family of Newton visited Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hall.
