Stonehouse The Belgrave Ty Ices have nished the regular schedule in le Intereounty Leagne in second ace with a record 6 wins and 2 osses. They are now in the ayoffs with West Howick. Belgrave won the first game ast Thursday night in Belgrave 6 0. ast Saturday the Belgrave ykes played in the Lucknow yke Tournament. They beat iverton 4-1 in the first game with Belgrave goals going to Darren Evans, Bill Hawes,Gordon Taylor gild Randy Nixon. in the second game they had a really close game with Lucknow vith Belgrave coming, out on top 2-1. Belgrave goals were s cored by Tim Darlow and Paul Coultes. In the championship game Saturday night Belgrave played against a strong team from Brussels coming out on the short end of a 7 - 1 score with Belgraves' only goal going to Darren Evans. This week the Ty kes have a playoff game with West Howick WILLIAM EDWIN KING William Edwin King, a life long esident of Grey Township, assed away in Huronview on unday, February 23rd after an llness of one week. He was ighty-two years of age. Born in Grey Township, he was he son of the late Job and Kate ing. He was a retired farmer ad had been living in Ethel until e became a resident of uronview three weeks ago. He is survived by three Tthers, Ben, Alex and Alpheus nd three sisters, Mrs.Eva Hawes f Ottawa, Mrs. Sybil Van Fleet of rantford and Mrs. Howard Edith) Grainger of Orillia. Mr. and Mrs.Bruce Marshall of London visited on Saturday with her father, Mr. Stanley Cook in the Wingham and District Hospital. We extend sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Mac Scott in the death of her mother Mrs. Jake Hunter. Robert Stoner of Blenheim and Hospital, London, in his 49th year. He passed away suddenly after tieing in failing health for five months. A member- of the Canadian Armed Forces, he had been stationed in Winnipeg, Moose Jaw, Springfield,. Centralia and Camp Borden. He would have been retired in January 1976 after thirty-two years of service. He is survived by his wife, the former Lillian Mitchell, daughter of Mrs. Bessie Mitchell of Brussels; three sons, Cpl. David Beer of the R.C.M.P., B.C. and John and Steven at home; his mother, Mrs. Fred Beer and brother George Beer, both of Hensall; one sister, M rs. Elaine McArthur of Edmonton. Funeral services were held from the Bonthron Funeral Home, H ensall. Burial was in Hensall Cemetery. A military Honor Guard from London was in attendance. Coultes was named North Huron-Regional for the coming year, Ethel The first meeting of the Ethel #1 4-H Club was held at the home of Dorothy Boneschansker on Saturday, March 1st. The project of this club is "What ShallI Wear?" The meeting was opened with the 4-H Pledge. Mr. Hill urged board members to try the new schedule at least until the end of June and if it met with approval the meeting procedure could be adopted.
