In a very exciting game of hockey the home team squeaked through with a 3-2 win, scoring the winni n g goal with 3 minutes remaining-in the game and managed id hold oit to their lead. The goalies - Keviii Kellington and Neil Mitchell both came up with some excellent saves. Scoring for Brussels was Kevin Deitner 2, Todd Wheeler 1. Assists went to Stewart Cardiff and Todd Wheeler. The second game played at home on Wednesday night was won a little more easily with the final score 6 - 3. Brussels scorers were Todd Wheeler 3, Kevin Deitner 2, Danny Achilles 1. Assists went to Steve Knight, Kevin Deitner and Todd Wheeler. The Bantam team was eliminated by Milverton in two straight games. The first game score was 17 - 2 with Scott Wheeler and Brian Deitner picking up the goals. Assists went to Brad Knight and Robby Dem aray In Brussels on Wednesdy night the Milverton team won 20 - Brad Knight scored B russels'— only goal with Brian Deitner assisting. The PeeWee team are still playing with Milverton in their series. The first game in Milverton ended in a 3 - 3 deadlock after overtime. all 3 goals were scored by Ken Cousins with assists going to Steven Huether, Darwin McCutcheon and Brian Tenpas. On Friday evening the Milverton team returned to hand BrusSels a 5 -3 defeat. Brussels scorers were Ken Higgins, Steven Huether and BrianTenpas.
