Giessler, Fraser, Mich. and her daughter, Mrs, Leon Hirzel, St. Clair Shores, Mich. were calling in Cranbrook on. Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Huether and daughters, Cambridge, visited with Mrs. Glenn Huether on the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Henry, London, spent the weekend with Mrs. Stuart McNair. Mr. and Mrs.Stanley Fischer visited n Saturday in Rexdale with their* son Carman. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Armstrong, Fergus, visited Mrs. Mac Engel on Sunday afternoon. Quite a number from here attended the 116th Anniversary of Knox -Church, Monkton on Sunday. Rev. Vernon Tozer, of St. Marys was the guest minister. Miss Janet Veitch, has accepted the position of secretary to Dr. Willis, eye surgeon, in London and commences her work there this week. The regular service in Knox Presbyterian Church will change for the winter months to 1:30 p.m, Standard Time commencing next Sunday, November 3.
