Oar n v a October .16, 1974 TO THE RESHANTS OF BRUSSELS On behalf of the Village Council I am pleased to present to you this draft of a Secondary7Plan for our Village.. The Draft Plan was prepared .after numerous meetings, and much inpUt and assistance'from village residents, and sets out the directions we should be taking to guide the growth and development of the Village in the years to come.. The Village of Brussels is experiencing a lot of changes and with the proposed sewage ,system it is expected that pressures for develop- ment will increase. This is why I, as Reeve, and my council believe it is so necessary and 'important to plan for the future. We have much to be proud of in our village, 'and we must strive to ensure that the quality of our environment is preserved and enhanced in the future. A public meeting is to be held in the Village-at the Legion Hall on October '22nd. at 8:00 p.m. to discuss the Draft Plan and you are cordially invited.
