We are constantly urged by ads
via the media to drink more milk,
called the perfect food. Now we re
told that by October 21st
homogenized milk will increase
from the average price of 44c per
quart to 50c per quart, a raise of
6c a quart. We wonder how long a
low income family, with several
small children, will be able to
afford this increase in price. It is
not that the producer is
begrudged the increase but it
must make it difficult for such
families.
