Huron County 4-H Tractor Club
WAS held at Vincent's Farm
Equipment, Seaforth,
The topic discussed was diesel
injection systems. Mechanics told
how to set injection pumps, and
described. the difference between
direct And indirect injections.
In a discussion on mainten-
ance, it was indicated that diesel
tractors are easier on fuel and
have fewer parts, making them
easier to maintain than their gas
counterparts,
The 4-H Tractor Club
Achievement Day was held at the
Huron County Plowing Match
when members answered a quiz
on tractor maintenance parts and
participated in a Tractor Driving
Contest. Nelson Underwood of
R.R. 1, Wingham placed first,
Jim Fairies, R.R. 1, Gorrie,
second, and John Underwood of
R.R, 1, Wingham, third.
