A very special, thanks to all those who par- ticipated in the campaign. .Bob McKinley M.P.. tor Huron-Middlesex Sabres' trainer speaks at hockey awards night A large crowd turned out on Friday evening for Minor HOckeys Awards night. They were honoured by the presence of two guest speakers. The well- known sports broadcaster Bill Inkol of CKCO radio and tele- vision Kitchener and Angie Nigro trainer of the N.Ii.L.'s Buffalo Sabres. Both men are also involved in operating the Walt Tkacuzk Hockey School at St. Marys. They were introduced to the audience by the president of Minor Hockey, Brian Huether. Mr. Inkol, a very entertaining speaker was first and then introduced Mr. Nigro and asked him very informative questions about his work as a trainer, his players on the Buffalo Sabre team and his hopes for them this year, as well as encouraging words for the future in hockey for our young hockey • players. Mr. Nigro stated that the doctors have given Roger Crozier a clean bill of health to return as their goal tender this year with a couple of very good junior goalies to back him up. He also had big hopes for the 'French Line' this year which should be back at full strength. These were two very interest- ing personalities and we were quite honoured to have them at our Awards Night. A short question period followed and then they assisted in the presentation of awards to our local players for their years work. The Most Valuable Player and the Most Improved.
