ladies parlour of the church.
Jessie Little was in charge of
devotions.
The meeting opened with 0
Canada. Joyce Ireland favoured
with two piano solos. Joan
Huether 'then gave her prize
winning speech on "Margaret
Trudeau".
The scripture lesson was read
in unison. Jean Ireland gave the
topic on "Priscilla". another ()idle -
great women, of the Bible. This
was followed by a short question
period conducted by Jean. A
hymn was sting and the meeting
closed with a prayer given by
Jessie followed by the Mizpah
Benediction in unison.
Mary Huether had charge of
the business of the meeting. After
minutes, financial report and roll
call final plans were discussed for
the smorgasbord supper the
following day.
Plans for a June wedding were
discussed and a committee wa.s
formed to help plan hockey dinner
in July.
Plans for the June meeting,
when we will have a special
guest, Mrs. Jean Bewley of.
Walton to 'show pictures of a trip
to New Zealand. Ladies of -the
community are invited to come
and enjoy the pictures.
Lunch was served by Jessie and
Jean after which most of the
members helped set tables for the
supper on Wednesday.
