Mrs. Irene Richmond and Mrs.
Judy Somers of. ,Brussels were
among those in the Registered
Nursing Assistants class at the
graduatio'n exercises held Friday
at the Wingham and District
Hospital Training Centre.
At the completion of the 35
week course both Brussels ladies
won awards. Mrs. Richmond
received the Dr. Crawford award
for first proficiency in bedside
nursing and Mrs. Somers for
second in scholastic standing.
They will commence duty in
Wingham and District Hospital
on June 4th.

John L. McCall, D.V.M., son of
Mr. and Mrs. Stewart McCall,
R.R.4, Walton, received the
degree, Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine, from the University of
Guelph at graduation ceremonies
in Guelph on May 24. Dr. McCall
also received The Diamond Ser-
vice Award for his contribution to
the Veterinary Students Associa-
tion and for academic achieve-
ment.
Dr. McCall is presently practis-
ing veterinary medicine in Mon-
tague, P.E.1., along with Drs.
A.E. Ings, R.C. Duggan and
T.W. Larder.
JANE ELIZABETH GARTLEY
daughter of ,Mrs. Melvin Becker,

the College of Family and
Consumer Studies, University of
