Thanks
witnesses
On April 29, the Ontario
Provincial Police asked for help to
locate witnesses to assist in their
investigation of a serious criminal
offence.
In particular, we wanted to
speak with persons who had
travelled between Peterborough
and Toronto by bus on December
6, 1973. As a result of published
and broadcast appeals, a witness
has responded with information
vital to our investigation.
Without the cooperation of the
media we could never have
reached this important witness.
On behalf of all members of the
Ontario Provincial Police, I should
like to express our appreciation to
you for your assistance on this
occasion.
H.H. Graham
CommisSioner.
