of Kit chener were Saturday
visitors with Mr, and Mrs.
Recent investigations carried
out by the OPP of the Wirigharn
Detachment included:
Fifteen investigations with
fifteen persons charged under the
Liquor Control Act.
Twenty-one charges laid and
six warnings issued under the
Highway Traffic Act.
Twenty-one other
investigations.
On Monday, May 13, Thomas
M. Cardiff was involved in a
single car accident on Sideroad 5 -
6, north of Concession 15-16
Grewy Township. Damaged as a
result of the accident were a fence
and • posts owned by Alvin
McDonald of R.R.2, B ,russels.
Damages to the Cardiff vehicle
were estimated at $75. There
were no injuries.
Janet R. Wittman of Walkerton
was involved in a single .car
accident on County Road 28 south
of Concession 16 - 17, Howiek
Twp. There were no injuries, and
damages to the Wittman vehicle
were estimated at $2,000. •
On Wednesday, May 15, Aaron
R. Kuepfer of R.R.#2, Bluevale
and Mary A. Thomas of Brussels,
Ontario were involved in a
two-car collision on Huron County
Road #12, north of Concession 5 -
6, Grey Township. No one was
injured and damages were
estimated at $100.00. •
David A. Dunbar of R.R.#1,
'fielgrave and Raymond C.
McNichol of R.R.#2, B)yth were.
involved in a two car collision on
Highway #4, south of the
Maitland River Bridge, East
Wawanosh Township. No one was
injured, and damages were
estimated at $2000.00. Charges
are pending.
On Saturday, May 18, Melville
G. Hertel of Harrow, Ontario was
travelling On Highway #4 when
the rear of his vehicle was struck
by an unknown vehicle, which left
the scene. Damages were
estimated at $800.00.

and District Hospital for several
weeks, is home.
The Moore families of
Stoufville and the Solasky family
of Aurora were Saturday visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. Doug Spence,
Wingham and Harry Datema of
R,R.#1, Aylmer were involved in
a collision on Highway #86, west
of the Junction of Turnberry Twp.
Road, East Wawanosh Township.
Damages were estimated at
$700.00. There were no injuries..
Charges are pending.
DDuglas W. Small of Dublin and
Fred J. Meier of R.R.#4,
Brussels, Ontario, were involved
in a two car collision in the Village-
of Blyth. No one was injured.
Damages were estimated at
$400.00. Charges are pending.
