luncheon shower at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Gamble. The
shower was in honor of Miss
Donna Reese who is to be married
to Mr. Neil Hemingway in June.
Mrs. Robert Johnson of Missis-
sauga spent a week with her
sister, Mrs. D.A. Rann and Mr.
Rann, and also visited other
Brussels friends.
David Kennedy and son,
Michael, of Hamilton visited on
Saturday in Brussels with his
mother, and with his father, Roy
Kennedy, in Wingham and Dis-
trict Hospital.

Members of the evening unit of
the Brussels U.C. W. entertained
-their mothers, guests and
members of the Afternoon Unit at
a Pot-Luck-Supper in the church
basement on Monday evening.
Following supper Joan Bernard
conducted a short worship period
with the theme of "Mother"
including a scripture reading,
prayer by Linda Patterson and
readings by Luella Mitchell and
Barb McCutcheon.
. Mrs. Bernard introduced Mrs.
Jean Bewley of Walton who
showed slides and gave an
interesting commentary on her
trip to Australia.
Mrs. Bewley was thanked by
Mrs. Bernard and presented with
a gift.
Geri Kellington, president of
the Evening Unit presided for the
business .The program for
Huronview was discussed. The
date was set for May 27th and
cars will be arranged for those
wishing to go.
Dorothy Steffler thanked the
Evening Unit on behalf of the
visitors.
Records of the McMillan
Family Band were on sale and
may be obtained from Sarah
STephenson.
