The warning to dog owners to
keep their animals on their own
property, or on a leash, appears
to have been heeded_ by most (14
owners. Few dogs have been seen
, running at large in this village
these last few days. Young people
have been walking their pets on a
leash. The possibility of having
them picked up by the Animal
Control Officer apparently is not
looked forward to and they are
keeping closer watch on their
dogs. ** * ***
How grateful one is when a
person has someone in hospital,
to have the offer of transportation
from kindly friends and
neighbours. These thoughtful
people have no idea how much
one appreciates their kindness as
also does the hospital patient.
