NEEDS BROTHERS AND SISTERS
i Pay no attention to the spots on Donny's face. He had a few
told sores when the picture was taken. They disappeared quickly
and, in general, this 7-year-old is in good health. He has a
hiedical problem, though, because of having swallowed denture
powder when he was a little fellow. This caused s stricture in the
esophagus, which requires treatment only when it bothers him.
the last treatment was over two years .ago. Results of the
accident are a speech defect, for which he is receiving help at
school, and the need to eliminate acids and vinegar from his diet.
's 1 Donny is an Ojibway Indian and his language is English. He
i slim and tall for his age, a good-looking boy with dark eyes,
gown hair and medium complexion.
[
Donny is a most amiable boy who wins affection at first
`lance. He is curious, friendly and outgoing and he loves people.
lie prefers to play with older children and is delighted when-they
ill include him in baseball or miniature golf. He is a hockey fan,
is television. An average student in Grade 1, he likes books,
specially if somebody will read to him.
Donny needs parents who will appreciate an active young
pn and who can help him with. his speech problem. It will be
best if there are older brothers and sisters in the family.
1 To inquire about adopting Donny, please write to Today's
,11ild, Ministry of Community and Social Services, Box 888,
