Lunch was served by Mrs. Lawrence Taylor, Mrs. Herson Irwin and Mrs. Leslie Bolt. Squirts. Lose Thursday night Lucknow and Belgrave played an exhibition game in Belgrave with Lucknow winning 7-2. On. Saturday morn- ing, the Squirts met with Kurtzville in the Belgrave Arena and won 18-1. W.M.S. The W.M.S. 'met at the home of Mrs. J.C. McBurney on Monday of last 'week. Mrs. Joe Dunbar opened the meeting, followed by scripture reading by Mrs. Garner Nicholson. Mrs. Victor Youngblut led in prayer and Mrs. Mac Scott read' the meditation on "Hope and Joy.", -Mrs. Joe Dunbar and Mrs. J.C. McBurney took the first chapter of the new study book "For a time like this." The chapter was entitled "One Great Ground of Hoe." A question and answer arid discussion period followed. The secretary's report was read by Mrs. J.C. McBurney. Mrs. Youngblut gave the financial' report for 1973. All ladies present signed a card to send to Mrs. O.G. Anderson on the occasion of her 87th birthday. Eight ladies answered the roll call. PeeWees Continue Win Series Belgrave PeeWees kept their winning streak laSt week by defeating ., Fordwich on. Monday and Kurtzville on .Friday. • Monday night game ended with a score of 9-5 while Friday score was 5-1. The whole team should be credited for their victory and team work. We should especially thank Grant Gnay and Bradley Cook who were outstanding players of these games.
