Christmas ) cactus
This 70-year-old Christmas cactus, covered with rosy red
flowers, receives a watering from its owner, Mrs. Robert
McMichael of R.R.*.1, Walton. Mrs. McMichael said the plant
belonged to her grandmother, the late Mrs. Mary Morrow of
Seaforth and then was passed on to her daughter, the late Mrs.
Robert Wright of Seaforth. In turn Mrs. McMichael inherited
the plant twenty-two years ago. Every December•it has put on its
colorful dress, rivalling the Christmas tree. The pitcher Mrs.
McMichael is using to water the plant is over 100 years old.

teams from Garden City,.
Michigan, If you happened to
notice a lot of green and white
jackets roaming the streets, they
were the colours of the Garden
City players and coaches. Anyone
who attended the games on
Saturday and Sunday will agree it
was a very good series of hockey
games. Although Brussels came
out on the losing side, a lot of
close games provided very
exciting hockey for both teams.
