Detachment include: Four investigations with four persons charged under the Liquor Control Act. Nine charges laid and six warnings issued under the Highway Traffic Act. Nineteen other investigations with two charges laid* under the Criminal Code. On December 25, Ross I. Brighton of Brussels received injuries as a result of a snowmobile accident in Morris Township. There were no darn, ,iges to the snowmobile. Harold W. Ridley of Wroxeter vas involved in a single car ,iccident On County Road 12, iorth of County Road 25, Morris Township. Mr. Ridley was injured As a result of the accident as well .1s a passenger in his vehicle, Ian R. Oakley of Fordwich. Damages '0 the Ridley vehicle were • stimated at $2000.00. On December 27, Giesela ',/.1apa of Kitchener, was involved in a single car accident on Highway 9, west of the Clifford W. Limits. There were no injuries and the Szlapa vehicle was damaged to the extent of $800.00. • John K. Anderson was involved in a single car accident on #25 County Road at the junction of 4-5 Side Road,Hullet Township. There were no injuries, and damages wre estimated at $1600.00. George E. Gill of R.R. 2, Bluevale was involved in a single car accident on Huron County Road #12, north of Concession 5-6, Grey Township. No one was .injured, and damaged to the Gill vehicle were estimated at $300.00. On December 29, Frederick J. Stevenson of R.R. 4, Brussels was involved in a single car collision Huron County Road #34 at the iu teflon of Sideroad 25-26, Howick Township. Walker of Toronto was involved in a single car accident on Highway 4, north of Huron Road 16, East Wawanosh Township. No one was injured and damages to the Walker vehicle were estimated at $1500.00. On Wednesday, January 2, Marion W. McBurney of R.R.#5, Wingham and- Thomas G. Cameron of Belgrave were involved in a collision in East Wawanosh Township. There were no injuries, and damages were estimated at $150.00. On Wednesday,January 2, at approximately 9 A.M., a vehicle driven by David C. Campbell of Bluevale was eastbound on. Concession 6 - 7,, flowick Township, Howard J. Bender of R.R.2, Listowel was driving a tractor-trailer southbound on the Turnberry-Howick Town Line. The two vehicles collided at the intersection, Campbell was pried from his vehicle and taken to Wingham & District Hospftal, froin where he was transferred to Victoria Hospital, London. He passed away on January 3, as a result of injuries received. Bradley Campbell, a passenger in the Campbell vehicle was also taken to Wingham — District 'Hospital. Damages were estimat ed at $8,000.00. Charges are pending. On. January 3, Brian A. Adams was snowmobiling when he hit a tree limb. He received injuries as a result of the accident. Damages to his vehicle were minor. • On January 5, Albert W. Bieman struck and killed a deer onHuron County Road 20, west of the Maitland River Bridge, East Wawanosh Township. Damages to his vehicle were estimated at $200.00. One investigation with one charge laid under the Liquor Control Act. Two charges laid and eleven warnings issued under the Highway Traffic Act. Mrs, George Thornton, New Year's Day. Mrs. Charlie Storey is a patient in St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. and • Mrs. Jack Vader, Michelle and Michael, formerly of Harriston, will take up residence in one of the Gerald Exel Apartments on William St. Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Cousins and Mr. and Mrs. George Cousins left on Tuesday for a holiday in Florida. Chuck Exel spent the holiday season at home with Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Exel and family. He returned to Grand Rapids, Michi- gan to board a plane for London, England, where he will spend a month on a Theatre Study Interim with other students from Calvin College. Their return trip includes a weekend in Paris, France. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Roberts, Karen and Michael of Ottawa; David Gowing of Guelph; Nancy Gowing of London; Ken Gowing of Fanshawe College, London, have left after spending two weeks with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gowing.
