Recent investigations carried
out by OPP at the Wingha.m De-
tachment include:
Four investigations under the
Liquor Control Act with four
persons charged.
Fourteen Charges laid under
the Highway Traffic Act with
twenty-two warnings issued.
Seventeen investigations
under the Criminal Code of
Canada.
On February 14, William G..
Alton of Wingham, was involved
in a single car accident on Con-
cession 10-11, west of Sideroad
25-26, Turnberry Township.
There were no injuries, and the
estimated damage of the Alton car
was $100.00.
On February 15, John D. Pen-
nington of Brussels, received in-
juries in a single car accident
on County Road #29, east of
County Road #12, Howick Town-
ship. Damage to the Penning-
ton vehicle was estimated at
$1850.00.
Royce Bauer of Brussels, was
involved in a single car accident
on Huron County Road #12, north
of Huron County Road #16,Brus• -
sels. Mr. Bauer received minor
injuries, and his vehicle was
damaged to the estimated amount
of $1000.00.
On February 15, Mrs. Lois
Noble of Lucknow, was involved
in a single car accident on High-
way #86, west of the Huron-
Bruce Cotinty Line. Mrs. Noble
was not injured, Damage to her
vehicle was estimated at $1250.,
Erik Schistad of wingham,
was involved in a single car
accident on Highway #86, east
of the Junction of Highway #4.
There were no injuries, and
damages were estimated at
$150.00.
On February 16, Bruce W.
Subject of Monkton was involved
in a single car accident onHuron
County Road #12, south of High-
way #86. There were no injuries,
and damages to the S ubject ve-
hicle were estimated at
$250.00.
