Due chiefly to the wildness of Butler in the second innings. the Purities managed to sque(ze out a win by the score of 6 to 4. Cooper d d the twirling for Godetich, and though he was in many holes he managed, with good fielding behind him, to get out of them. Sturgeon at third was the worst offender on the Purity team in regard to errors, having three misses and a wild throw chalked up against him. The Purity Flour team was changed around considerable. with Ramsay at first, McLeod shortstop and Sturgeon at ttrd R Bisset Sturgeoin the sixth. The Purities were unable to wore in the first, but they got four counters in the second, on five passes and twn errors.
