John Agnew, an old resident of this dist•ict. who moved to Vancouver, B. C . a year ago. died at that city on the 3,d inst. The deceased was both in Ireland eighty-three years ago, came to Canada when a boy, and farmed for many years in the town- ship of Wawanoeh until he retired and came to Wingham eighteen years ago.
