nage is simply this : 'Time is

`Hotel Keepers' Union' in Ontario,
and if any claw of people would know
the local hotel men would."
The circular in question is a print-
ed document and came to us indirect-
ly from au hotel -keeper, and anyone
who wishes to see it may do so by
calling at this office. We do not
know, nor do we care, whether or not
there is an "Ilotel Keepers' Union" in
Ontario ; possibly some of The Star's
friends -the men, for instance, who is-
sued the forged Globe -got up the
circular and signed a fictitious name
to it. Nor did we go to all the hotel -
keepers in town to see if they had re-
ceived such a circular, any more than
The Star did to make its enquiries.
The fact remains that the circular was
