Shorthand Society was held yesterday at
the /forum! School. The principal ten -

N. 8. Dunlop and Mies Mamie Quinn,
Stratford ; Secretary, C. E. Stambury.
Mr. Dunlop was presented by the society

ment of his seal in forwarding the inter-
ests of the society. Several papers bear-
ing on shorthand and typewriting were
read and discussed. The secretary an-
nounced the society was flourishing, hav-
ing on its roll over one hundred mem-
bers. Among the visitors from the
United States were ]dr. Isaac Dement,
