SILVER JUBILEE. -The silver jubilee
of Rev. Dean Murphy, of Irishtown, was
celebrated on Wednesday last at the
Parochial residence. Hia Lordship,
Bishop Walsh, of Lindon; also a large
number of priests frutn different parts of
the diocese, was present to do honor to
Rev. Dean Murphy, on the ocesaion of
his completing the 25th anniversary of
his ordination. The presents front his
friends were of silver and of handsome
design, and exquisite workmanship. The
address was read by Mr. PfleConuell, sit
Hibbert, and was a very lengthy and
ttatterine one. After partaking of re-
freshments congratulations were indulg-
ed in, and a sociable time was spent in
