The first prize two-year-old
heifer, Meri Acres Emily, Shown
by Ross Marshall, Kirkton, went
on, to become the Senior and
Grand Champion female. She
was a very large stylish heifer
with an excellent udder having
particularly nice rear attach-
ment. The Reserve Senior and.
Reserve Grand female was pn-
plex Hope, the winning three-
year-old shown by Elston Spei-
ran, Brussels. Hope had plenty
of dairy character with open rib
and a good quality udder show-
ing plentY of width at the rear.
Judge Innes found the Jun-
ior and Reserve Junior Champion
females in the senior yearling
heifer class, with Royal. Ormsby
Marjorie standing first for Allen
Wylie and Banella Marquis
Barbie in second position for
George L. Hayden. This was a
typey pair, both very dairy, with
the Junior Champion being

were surprised September 28th
when Mrs. Pegelow's sister Alma
and her husband, and brother

dropped in to wish them a happy
anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mc-
Cutcheon were weekend visit-
ors in Kingsville, with his bro-

placed second in the junior calf
class. Banella Marquis Sonnet,
who stood fourth in the class
for cows five years old and over,
was named Best Uddered Hol-
stein for George Hayden. El-
ston Speiran showed the first
prize aged cow and first junior
yearling heifer. Hot-Den Farm
had the winning dry scow and
the first prize four-year-old;
Allan. Wylie showed the top sen-
ior heifer calf and Robert Eedy,
Walton, showed his 4-H calf to
'first place in the junior calf
class.
